Name:	Hohass "Runt" Ekwesh

Bio

Gold Two was not human. He was definitely humanoid, with arms, legs, torso and head arranged in a comfortably recognisable fashion. But, though nearly as tall as Kell, he was very lean, covered in short brown fur, with an elongated face, huge brown eyes, a broad, flattened nose, and a mouth full of squarish white teeth. His were features better suited to a draft animal than a sapient being -- but for the inquisitive, luminously intelligent quality of his eyes. He also had a head of hair that would be the envy of many a human, male or female; as Kell arrived at the table, Gold Two was tugging his hair free of an elastic band and allowing it to shake out into a waterfall of midback-length chestnut brown.

Kell tried to rein in his irritation at the other pilot's blatant disregard of orders and protocol. He extended a hand. "Kell Tainer."

The alien took his hand and shook it in a human fashion. "We are Flight Officer Hohass Ekwesh."

"We? Is that a royal we?" That would explain the alien's apparent disdain for procedure.

"No, a collective--"

Hohass "Runt" Ekwesh is a Thakwaash male from Thakwaa. This means he's basically a humanoid horse; his body shape is roughly that of a human, as in the passage above, while the shape of his head is a cross between that of a human and that of a horse, with eyes facing forward. Being Thakwaash also means that he has a tendency to refer to himself in the plural; as part of a Thakwaash's normal development, multiple personalities form to deal with situations as they arise. Runt's most assertive "minds" are his social mind and his pilot mind; it is unlikely anyone in Milliways will encounter the second, unless they should go up against him in the sims.

For all that he is not human, he has no difficulty speaking Basic. He's called Runt because, compared to his siblings, he is the runt of the bunch; however, he's still roughly six feet tall, and possesses a strength far surpassing that of a normal human.

He's also a pilot with the New Republic's Wraith Squadron, formerly one of the military's X-Wing squadrons, now commissioned by New Republic Intelligence.
